Overview
The Albania master plan groups five sector programmes into a single development framework, intended to be assessed and progressed sector by sector with Albanian institutions and private partners.
Tourism and Riviera development
- Coastal resort concepts in the Vlorë, Sarandë and Durrës areas
- Tourism zones planned with environmental and heritage constraints
- Hospitality training capacity
- Eco-accommodation with cultural integration
Energy and mining
- Wind and hydro generation concepts
- Grid efficiency and smart-network upgrades
- Responsibly governed mineral development, subject to licensing
- Research capacity in storage and grid technology
Agriculture and food processing
- Smart farms, greenhouses and vertical farming concepts
- Food-processing hubs oriented to export markets
- Cold chain, logistics and traceability systems
- Farmer training and rural enterprise development
Real estate and urban development
- Smart urban districts in Tirana, Durrës and Vlorë
- Mixed housing including affordable and eco-oriented units
- Long-stay residential offering for international residents
- Digital property management systems
Business services
A business-process and shared-services programme intended to create skilled employment and support the other sector programmes.
