How we assess national infrastructure proposals
A short note on the sequence we apply before any infrastructure proposal moves beyond concept stage.
Infrastructure proposals are assessed against public-interest outcome, regulatory pathway, land and permitting position, delivery capability, operating cost and the realistic availability of long-term financing.
Where any of these cannot be evidenced, the proposal stays at concept stage and is published as such.
